8 Reasons I love the Bahn
This past weekend, we took a short trip up north to Hamburg. It was a fun trip. Hamburg is a nice city, but we definitely prefer our Bavaria! We traveled on this trip with the Deutsche Bahn. The train ride went well. Both ways we had a direct train from Munich central station to Hamburg central station and we rode on the nice ICE (Inter City Express) trains. The trip was a little under 7 hours each way. Darian did great and all of the people sitting near us just loved him.
I do enjoy traveling with the train. Sure it does take a little bit longer than flying, but it still is quite enjoyable. Here are eight reasons why I love taking the train.
8 Reasons I Love Taking the Bahn
1) More leg room – lots of room even in 2nd class seating
2) No seat belts – I am free to move
3) Restrooms on board – I don’t have to pull over every 1-2 hours for Adelaide or Darian
4) I can read/sleep/work and arrive refreshed – I love that I don’t have to drive
5) No airport-like security checks – I don’t have to stress about being racially profiled and/or taking my belt and shoes off
6) No car seat – I can walk around with Darian. A much easier way to travel for the little guy
7) No worries about directions – just need to get on the right train and wake up at my stop
8) Baby Darian gets his own seat for free when he travels with us!I am sure looking forward to our next trip!
