Phoenix to San Antonio

Today was our last day in Arizona during our Olguin Family Tour 2011 trip. My brother Steve drove us to the Phoenix airport. We had a blast in Arizona. I loved seeing my parents, my siblings, and friends. I am sure my family was very happy to finally meeting baby Darian. He seemed to love it, too.

Our flight on Southwest went smoothly. Darian was great. My sister Aida and her two boys, Timmy & Tyler, and my younger sister Adrianna were there smiling at the airport in San Antonio to pick us up.

Of course the first dinner in Texas is at a genuine BBQ restaurant. I loved it. Even Adelaide enjoyed it, who generally does not like BBQ. The kids were crazy for it too. This is one thing that I love about Texas!

This restaurant was the real deal. You could tell by the intense smoking pits they had in the back. There is nothing like meat that has been smoked for over 24 hours.

There was a little playground in the back patio area of the BBQ place too. It was a little chilly outside, but that did not stop us from having a little fun.

I do love BBQ. I will sure miss it. I think I will eat it every day that we are here in Texas……finger lick’n good.
