Are you ready to rodeo, San Antonio?
Welcome to the Rodeo. It was my first. My first time seeing children ride sheep and get run over, men ride bulls and fly over the fence into the audience, and women ride around barrels without knocking them over. In short, texans at their best.
Are the calves chasing the kiddies or are the kiddies chasing the calves? I am not sure either. Some of the kiddies were dragging the calves along and some of the calves were dragging the kiddies. I think I will buy a calf for Darian when he gets a little bigger!
We thought this was a neat old fire engine. Darian liked it too. He is holding up his arms in excitement.
My sister’s family, the Hurst clan. They all got suited up for some rodeo action. They are great. It was so much fun staying with them for a few days.
I really enjoyed the rodeo. It was a great mix of quality family time and the wild wild west. If we are in San Antonio again during the rodeo, we’ll definitely be stopping by.
Adios partners.
