Time to Bum around the House

Some mornings I wake up really early and get a bunch of things done before Darian’s up or sometimes I stay up late and get those things done after he goes to bed, but then Darian usually wakes up before me the next morning. This morning, it was one of those mornings, so Hector brought Darian up to our room, so Hector could finish getting ready for work while I “watched” Darian. I was so tired this morning that I let Darian make havoc of all of my things (behind him in the picture) while I tried to sleep a couple more minutes. But then he climbed up to where I was sleeping and woke me up with his sweet little smile.

He also woke us up another time a little earlier this morning. I was so tired and couldn’t understand why he was up. Hector (thank goodness!) went down and just brought him up, so I could help him. Then he said, “Ade-wade.” He usually says Ade, so that was the cutest surprise ever. He calls me mama too, sometimes 😉  Today, we decided to have a fun Darian and mommy day where we do all of Darian’s favorites.

Then we played. And then I let Darian try to fall asleep on a monkey. It was a fun day to bum around and very much needed after all our busyness.
